Welcome to the New Home of the Norwood Highway 7 Cruisers
In 1993, John Lamey started the Norwood Fair Car Club, organizers of the Norwood Fair Car Show. That first year there were 7 cars at the show which was held on the old race track at the Fair Grounds.
The following year, the number of cars more than doubled to 16. Also that year, Doug Fleming joined the club.
In 1995, Tom Deen joined the club to help with the car show. Help was needed, for we were now up to 27 vehicles.
Since those early days, the Norwood Fair Car Show and the Norwood Fair Car Club have grown considerably.
The car club now boasts 20 members and a new name - The Norwood Highway 7 Cruisers.
With the help of a lot of great sponsors, a DJ, and numerous awards and prizes, the car show has grown every year - 2008 being our biggest year yet, with over 500 vehicles in attendance.
